Lady Johnson


Prophetess Ella Johnson (also known to many as Lady J) was a member of Zion Temple C.O.G.I.C. for seventeen years before branching out with her husband;  Superintendent Michael Johnson, who is the richly anointed Founding Pastor of Agape C.O.G.I.C, since January 16, 2002.   While at Zion Temple C.O.G.I.C. she served in the Youth Department for seventeen years, five of those years as a Youth Director.  She also served as a Choir member, Sunday School Teacher, Young People Willing Worker’s Teacher, Young Women’s Christian Council Treasurer, and Chaplain. Lady Johnson has worked in the Nursing Home Ministry, Hospital Ministry, Jail Ministry, Street Ministry, and Tree House Ministry.  She accepted her call to the ministry on January 5, 1992.


Lady Johnson is a retired educator of 30 years in which twenty-three of those years was with the Killeen Independent School District.  She had the opportunity to work as a Special Education Mathematics Teacher, Coach, and Athletic Coordinator of Smith Middle School Athletics.   She is the mother of two lovely daughters: Colesha, a graduate of Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas and Michelle a Masters recipient of the University of Texas in Arlington, Texas.

She is a devoted wife and effective helpmeet of thirty-six years to  Supertindent Michael R. Johnson. Lady J is a two-time cancer survivor.  In addition to being the First Lady, she is Agape Church Administrator, supervisor of the Women’s Department, the Youth Activities Director, YPWW Chair Lady of the Greater Waco District.  She serves as a licensed Evangelist of the Church of God in Christ in the Texas Southwest Jurisdiction.  
Lady J believes that her assignment is to love, bring clarity to  God's Word, and live out a life of holiness before a dying world, Jesus assignment was to reconcile us back to God, and God will be the ultimate Judge.
